What a public profile can include

Organization name, country, city, field of work, website, verified GOB status and selected collaboration interests.

What it should not imply

Directory presence is not governmental accreditation, diplomatic status, a grant guarantee or MYCDIC representation authority.

Member directory

A discovery tool, not a rating system

The directory helps organizations and external partners identify publicly listed participants. It does not rank members, certify the quality of every activity or guarantee that an organization remains eligible for every GOB programme.

Searchable fields

Public organization name, geography, thematic field and cooperation interests can support relevant discovery.

Publication controls

Profiles are published only after the organization has been admitted and the relevant public information has been approved for listing.

Status changes

A profile can be updated, hidden or removed when membership status changes, information becomes inaccurate or publication consent is withdrawn.

Use by third parties

Directory information may not be used to imply endorsement by GOB or MYCDIC. External users remain responsible for their own due diligence before entering a relationship.

Membership framework

Public membership information with clear limits.

The directory can confirm participating organizations and their public fields of work while preserving privacy and accurate status language.

Who the organization route is for

The organization route is intended for eligible Moroccan, African and relevant diaspora associations, NGOs, youth organizations and civil-society structures that can identify their legal or institutional basis, leadership, field of work and actual activities.

What GOB reviews

Admissions can consider legal documentation, responsible leadership, public information, activity evidence, safeguarding concerns, reputational risk, credibility of claims and overall fit with the project. The depth of review can vary according to country, risk and the information provided.

What approval means

Approval creates a programme relationship with GOB and access to the current membership framework. It does not create governmental accreditation, diplomatic status, a MYCDIC office, authority to represent GOB or an entitlement to every service or opportunity.

What members are expected to maintain

Members should keep material organizational information reasonably current, use GOB and MYCDIC names accurately, comply with applicable law, respect safeguarding and integrity standards, avoid misuse of partner benefits and respond when information is needed for a programme or risk review.

Free does not mean unlimited

Because core membership is currently free, services must be prioritized according to programme capacity, eligibility, readiness, urgency and relevance. Training places, technical support, partner benefits and introductions can therefore differ between members and over time.

A reciprocal relationship

The strongest members do not treat GOB only as a source of discounts or opportunities. They can also contribute local knowledge, peer learning, expertise, introductions or project experience that strengthens the wider network.

Before applying

Prepare readable legal documents, accurate organization information and a motivation statement that explains what you do, what you want to strengthen and what you can contribute.

GOB Member Directory in the wider GOB operating model.

This section adds operational context so the page explains not only what the subject is, but how it connects to membership, programmes, continental coordination, partnerships and institutional trust.

Membership is a relationship

Admission is intended to create a structured route to services, programmes, opportunities and network relationships, not simply a badge for public display.

What members can expect

Available support can include institutional resources, programme routes, opportunity information, relevant introductions and partner benefits when active and eligible.

What GOB expects

Members should keep information accurate, use the GOB identity responsibly, respect safeguarding and privacy rules, and avoid overstating titles or benefits.

Value over time

The strongest value can be cumulative: better systems, clearer institutional presentation, stronger readiness and more credible cooperation.

Institutional standard

Public information should remain accurate to current appointments, approved members, active programmes and signed agreements. Future ambition is presented as direction, not completed impact.
