GOB at a Glance

A concise institutional overview of GOB, its purpose, relationship with MYCDIC, membership model, continental network, programmes, governance and public boundaries.

Purpose

GOB exists to turn cross-border cooperation into practical organizational value. The project focuses on the systems, relationships and opportunities that help associations operate more credibly, communicate more effectively and build cooperation beyond their immediate geography.

Institutional relationship

The Moroccan Youth Council for Diplomatic and International Cooperation provides the institutional home and strategic framework for GOB. GOB remains a project with its own identity, programmes, network structures and operating rules. It is not a ministry, embassy, consulate, diplomatic mission or governmental body.

Network architecture

GOB is designed around continental coordination, country-level coordination and independently governed member organizations. Continental Presidents and Country Coordinators support development of the network when formally appointed. Member organizations keep their own legal identity, leadership and responsibilities.

What members use

The practical offer may include institutional development resources, member services, opportunity information, capacity-building programmes, partner introductions, knowledge resources and partner-supported benefits when a live agreement makes them available.

Public standard

GOB publishes what is active and avoids presenting proposed partnerships, unfilled appointments or future benefits as current facts. This distinction is central to the project's credibility and public communication.

Institutional home

A strategic project of MYCDIC.

Core audience

Eligible associations and civil-society organizations.

Membership

Currently free for approved organizations.

Operational depth

This section explains how the public framework is expected to work in practice and how GOB protects clarity as the project grows.

How the reference is used

These pages are intended to give members, partners, journalists and external institutions a stable source of public information. Where a role, policy or partnership can affect external reliance, GOB should direct readers to the current controlled page rather than asking them to infer status from a social-media post, old presentation or informal message.

Public verification

A strong institutional record separates the existence of a structure from the status of a person or agreement. Appointments are published after formal confirmation, active benefits identify their provider and terms, and policies are linked from the relevant operational page so readers can verify the rule that applies.

Change management

Institutional information can change as the project grows. Material changes should be reflected consistently across the website, structured data, public directories and notices. Where an earlier statement has been superseded, the current page should make the new status clear without creating a misleading impression that the older state never existed.

Relationship to members

Member organizations participate inside the GOB framework without losing their own legal identity or management responsibility. The project can set conditions for use of its name, programmes, partner benefits and institutional introductions, while the member remains responsible for its own decisions, finances, staff, volunteers and public positions.
