Why the project exists
Many associations have capable volunteers, community legitimacy and strong ideas but limited institutional infrastructure. They may lack professional digital systems, reliable partner channels, opportunity intelligence, structured reporting or the ability to present their organization clearly to institutions. GOB focuses on these gaps because cooperation works better when each organization can explain who it is, how it is governed and what it can responsibly deliver.
What should improve for a participant
Participation is intended to produce practical improvement over time. For one organization this may mean stronger governance and digital systems. For another it may mean access to relevant training, a credible introduction, a cross-border partner, an opportunity, a research resource or a negotiated partner benefit. The project is designed around cumulative institutional value rather than one-off visibility.
Moroccan institutional roots
GOB is a strategic project of the Moroccan Youth Council for Diplomatic and International Cooperation. That relationship provides the project with a clear institutional home and strategic framework. GOB keeps its own project identity while preserving accurate public language about what MYCDIC is and what membership in GOB does and does not mean.
Africa and diaspora reach
The network is designed to connect eligible Moroccan organizations with credible African organizations and Moroccan/African diaspora structures abroad. This creates practical routes between local organizations, universities, companies, experts, communities and institutions in different countries without erasing local ownership.
Independent organizations inside a governed network
A member organization keeps its own legal identity, leadership, finances, responsibilities and public positions. Participation does not create a MYCDIC branch or governmental status. At the same time, use of the GOB name, partner benefits, shared programmes and institutional introductions is governed by published rules so the network can scale without losing credibility.
Growth with discipline
GOB should expand only where it can identify credible participants, communicate reliably, support meaningful interaction and manage risk. The project does not treat a long list of names or countries as evidence of success by itself. Quality of participation and usefulness of cooperation remain the stronger measures.
